Jonathan R. Sturman


Jonathan R. Sturman is strongly committed to the zealous representation of his clients. He specializes in family-based immigration and complex immigration-based federal litigation. No issue is too complex. Jonathan has made numerous appearances in federal court and has been instrumental to the success of more than one-hundred federal lawsuits, including cases in the Central, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California as well as cases in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Northern District of Illinois, and the District of Columbia. His attention to detail and ability to analyze and dissect highly complicated legal issues has afforded him a well-earned reputation with the federal and immigration courts. David M. Sturman


David Sturman is recognized as one of the best immigration lawyers in Los Angeles. He has dedicated his long career to immigration law, practicing immigration and nationality law exclusively since 1980. His reputation as a strong honest advocate and a fighter for the rights of his clients is well known. David Sturman is a graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, California 1979. He served on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Immigration Section as a secretary in this organization. He has in the past also been active in the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association.

In 1997 Mr. Sturman actively participated in strategy sessions of the ITAA (Information Technology Association of America) in their successful efforts to minimize adverse immigration consequences of H-1B legislation pending with Congress at that time. David Sturman is admitted to practice before the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California, and before the Executive Office for Immigration Review, including the Office of the Immigration Judge and the Board of Appeals. As a leading immigration lawyer in Encino, CA, he and his immigration law firm in Los Angeles have deep experience with both immigrant/nonimmigrant visa, removal and Federal Court/ Circuit Courts.

Many of his cases have been published and have become binding precedent. He was successful in the class action Dayo, et al. v. Napolitano, 11-cv-00728, in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, which dealt with the rights of aliens to obtain work permits while in removal proceedings.

Mr. Sturman is one of the best immigration lawyers in Los Angeles and regularly represents both petitioners and aliens in U.S. District Court in both mandamus actions to force delayed government adjudication and in actions for declaratory relief to review decisions of the USCIS. Besides representing clients before the USCIS and the U.S. State Department, he also actively represents clients facing deportation and removal proceeding before U.S. Immigration Courts. With over four decades of practice, Mr. Sturman has seen it all and has invaluable experience that other attorneys lack. Alexander Voschinsky

Alexander received Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and International Relations from UC Davis and a law degree from Pepperdine School of Law, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, recognizing excellent achievement in the study of Immigration Law. While in law school, he worked alongside immigration judge, Bruce J. Einhorn, at the Pepperdine Asylum Law Clinic. Alexander specializes in employment-based immigration, but his knowledge extends to all areas of immigration. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the Executive Office of Immigration Review Immigration Court. Alexander is passionate about helping those in need and has volunteered his time to provide pro bono legal advice to refugees and asylum seekers. He is fluent in the English and Russian language.

Angela E. Griffin

Angela handles all aspects of U.S. immigration, specializing in employment-based visas and permanent residency. Angela graduated from Loyola Law School, where she was awarded the Honorable Darlene R. Seligman Immigration Law Award for academic excellence and her work in the immigrant justice field. While in law school, she was heavily involved in the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic and collaborated with LA
City’s Office of Immigrant Affairs to create educational materials regarding immigrant workers’ rights. Angela graduated as a member of Weber’s Honors College from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the Executive Office for Immigration Review Immigration Court.

Natalie Stewart

Natalie practices in the areas of removal defense, treaty investors, family-based adjustment of status, naturalization, and writing appellate briefs and motions to assist clients in their immigration cases. Natalie graduated from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles with an award for Immigration Law. Natalie lived overseas for many years and has extensive experience interacting with people of varying nationalities. She practiced immigration law in Thailand and in Indonesia before returning to work in the USA. Natalie enjoys meeting clients and providing them with friendly, efficient, and effective legal services.

Eduardo Contreras

Eduardo handles all stages of immigration court cases involving removal defense from inception to trial, including asylum, cancelation of removal, adjustment of status, U-Visas, etc. Eduardo grew up in the Inland Empire and obtained his Bachelor’s from University of California Riverside and Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School. During law school, he participated in the Removal Defense Immigration Clinic assisting individuals in active removal proceedings, specifically LGBTQ+ individuals at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. He has been using his experience and resources to protect the rights of numerous individuals in removal proceedings and secure their status to remain in the U.S. He is fluent in the English and Spanish language.

Edward S. Reisman

Edward is a graduate of Georgetown Law School and has more than two decades of experience as an immigration lawyer specializing in deportation and removal cases. Prior to entering private practice, Edward was an attorney for the Department of Homeland Security. His experience on both sides provides him with a unique and invaluable perspective on the immigration process.
